Every day at 9 a.m., Ukrainians honor the memory of all whose lives were taken by the Russian-Ukrainian war. Today we remember Artem Babich.
Artem Babich, platoon commander of the infantry company, sergeant, was killed on March 31, 2025, while performing a combat task near the village of Kindrashivka in the Kupiansk district of Kharkiv region. This was reported by 'Glavkom', citing the mayor of Brovary Igor Sapozhko and the State University of 'Zhytomyr Polytechnic'.
Artem Babich was born on May 30, 1990, and was a fourth-year student of the part-Time study program at the State University of 'Zhytomyr Polytechnic', majoring in 'Management' (group ZMO-21-1). Babich combined his studies with service and dreamed of a future with great opportunities and development. According to the university, communication with him was always warm and optimistic.
In June 2025, Artem Anatoliyovych was to receive his bachelor's degree. His goal was to obtain higher education and continue his career in the military sphere to continue serving Ukraine.
'Unfortunately, life allotted him too short a time, but his path was filled with honor and courage,' the Zhytomyr Polytechnic wrote.
Artem was buried at the Alley of Glory in Brovary.
'Glavkom' joins in a moment of silence. We honor the memory of all Ukrainians who died in the struggle for their homeland. We remember those killed by Russian invaders, light candles of memory and bow our heads in sorrow during the nationwide moment of silence, honoring the bright memory of Ukrainian citizens who gave their lives for the freedom and independence of the state: all military personnel, civilians, and children, all who died in the fight against Russian occupiers and as a result of the attack of hostile forces on Ukrainian cities and villages.
