Bachelors of All Seasons – Who Sought Love, What They Looked Like, and What They Are Doing Now.

At one Time, the show about bachelors seeking family happiness became incredibly popular. In Ukraine, despite the war, this show is still airing, and the latest season even featured a military theme.
However, all bachelors have different stories. Some found their love, albeit briefly, while others were quickly disillusioned by romance. Overall, many viewers enjoy this story, which is why the show continues.
If you look at today, you can follow the lives of all the bachelors from past seasons: before the show, during, and after. Overall, everyone is curious to know if there is love among former bachelors.
Bachelors of All Seasons
The reality show "Bachelor" has become a true television phenomenon in Ukraine. With each new season, viewers eagerly watched as charismatic men sought real love among dozens of women. Some came to the project with sincere intentions to start a family, while others were there for popularity or new emotions. But inevitably, everyone forever entered the history of the show.
However, many viewers don't know that the original show is American. In other words, it was adapted in Ukraine. The same story has occurred in many countries.
The first season of "Bachelor" aired on Ukrainian television in 2011. Each new season is a new story, with a new face and new romantic adventures. The heroes of the show included both Ukrainians and foreigners, each with their own charisma, profession, and dream of love. They presented roses, organized dates on rooftops, in Paris, on yachts, and in the mountains, but, as we know, real life begins after the cameras stop rolling.
Maxim Chmerkovsky – Season 1 (2011)
Maxim – a charismatic dancer of Ukrainian descent who made a career in the USA. Before participating in "Bachelor," he was already quite well-known – a contestant on "Dancing with the Stars," he had popularity among women and extensive experience in the entertainment industry. In the season finale, he chose Olena Ryasnova, but the relationship did not work out.
What he is doing now: Maxim continues to live in the USA. He is married to his dancing partner, Petya Margatroyd. The couple has a son, and they seem happy together. Maxim opened his own dance studio, participates in projects, does charity work, and supports Ukraine, especially after the full-scale invasion in 2022.
Francis Alexander Matthew Romanov – Season 2 (2012)
The second season was a real surprise for viewers, as the main character of the project was not just a charismatic man but a genuine British aristocrat with the loud surname Romanov. His background immediately sparked heightened interest: a descendant of a royal dynasty, a gentleman with refined manners, exquisite taste, and a noble heart. Against the backdrop of other participants from previous seasons, he resembled a character from a fairy tale or classic novel – stately, intelligent, with a sense of style and delicacy. His behavior was the epitome of attentiveness, politeness, and restraint, which, at the same time, concealed deep inner emotions.
Francis stood out among all the bachelors from the first day – his calm voice, intelligent speech, subtle sense of humor, and impeccable English restraint created an atmosphere of true European romance. He did not rush to make grand gestures but acted delicately, respecting every girl. And although the show was filmed in Ukraine, he easily found a common language with the participants and demonstrated a sincere interest in Ukrainian culture.
His choice fell on Ivanna Onufriychuk – a bright, charismatic participant who managed to attract his attention not only with her appearance but also with the depth of her character. There was genuinely chemistry between them, which was prominently revealed in every episode. However, as often happens in the show, their story did not have a happy ending. After the finale, the couple did not continue their relationship, though many viewers sincerely rooted for them.
What he is doing now: after participating in the show, Francis returned to London, where he continued to live at his usual pace. He did not strive to become a reality star or use his popularity in the media space. Instead, he focused on what was dear to him – art. Francis engages in artistic photography, interior design, and creative art projects. His photographs have repeatedly participated in exhibitions, and his stylish designs are in demand among aesthetic connoisseurs.
Despite participating in the television show, Francis does not try to stay in the spotlight constantly. He leads a restrained, fairly private lifestyle, rarely appearing in the news or at public events. His social media pages are designed in a concise style, where there are more creative works than personal moments. As of now, based on available data, he is still unmarried, although very little is known about his personal life. It can be assumed that he values privacy above all – and this only adds to his mystery and charm.
This season was interesting in that a real prince appeared on it. This perfectly fit into the concept of the show. However, viewers criticized this bachelor in the light of the first season.
Andriy Iskorniev – Season 3 (2013)
This season became one of the most scandalous. Andriy – a charismatic plastic surgeon from Moscow who quickly won the sympathy of the female audience. In the finale, he chose Anna Kozyr, but literally a few weeks after the show, he returned to another participant – Irina Skorikova. Their relationship was also turbulent and ended somewhat ungracefully.
What he is doing now: Andriy returned to his profession. He opened his own clinic in Moscow, actively manages social media, and is focused on his career. He has not been seen in any relationships for a long time, so perhaps he is still looking for love. After the scandals from "Bachelor," he avoided the media for a long time.
Kostyantyn Yevtushenko – Season 4 (2014)
Kostya – a businessman, athlete, and simply a confident man. At the time of filming, he already had some experience in business, was involved in investments and triathlon. He chose Anna Selyukova, and the couple even spent some time together after the show. But again – not for long.
What he is doing now: Kostyantyn continues to build his career in business, works on startups, innovations, and sports projects. He is married to another woman with whom he has a child. On social media, he shares travels, work moments, and family photos. He has remained in Ukraine and actively supports charitable initiatives.
Serhii Melnyk – Season 5 (2015)
A professional football player, handsome, serious, and at the same time a bit shy – Serhii became a favorite among the audience. He chose Marina Kishchuk, but the relationship could not withstand the pressures of real life. After the show, Serhii disappeared from the radar a bit, which only fueled interest.
What he is doing now: after finishing his sports career, Serhii tried his hand in business. He has also been seen in modeling projects and photo shoots several times. Now he lives privately, does not disclose his personal life, but judging by his profiles – he is unmarried. In 2022, he supported Ukrainian defenders and volunteers.
Irakli Makatsaria – Season 6 (2016)
This season is often called the most romantic. Irakli – a real Georgian gentleman: smart, polite, handsome, with a wonderful sense of humor. In the finale, he chose Olena Lesik, but later admitted that it was an emotional decision, and true feelings developed for another participant – Alina.
What he is doing now: Irakli has become very popular in Ukraine. He participated in "Dancing with the Stars," hosted various television shows. He got married in 2023 to Georgian model Liza Chikaryshvili. The couple lives in Tbilisi, travels actively, engages in business and media activities. Irakli publicly supported Ukraine during the war.
Dmytro Cherkasov – Season 7 (2017)
In the seventh season, viewers got to know Dmytro Cherkasov – a professional swimmer, international-class sports master. Handsome, athletic, serious – Dmytro immediately appealed to the audience. His journey to love on the show was not easy, and the final choice was Lida Nemchenko. However, after the end of the show, the couple did not last long – they broke up just a few months later.
Where he is now and what he is doing: after the show, Dmytro remained in the media space. He works as a swimming coach, leads an active lifestyle, and shares sports advice on social media. In the 2020s, he began a relationship with another girl with whom he is raising a child. His social media profile shows happy parenthood, travel, and personal growth.
Rozhden Anusi – Season 8 (2018)
Musician and romantic Rozhden Anusi became a bachelor in the eighth season. An artist with a special charm, a lyrical view of life, and a sincere desire to find his person. In the finale, he chose Halyna Prystash, but unfortunately, those relationships did not transition into real life. After the project, Rozhden acknowledged that "too much romance" in reality shows can be harmful to genuine feelings.
Where he is now and what he is doing: Rozhden continued his musical career. He releases tracks, performs, works on new albums. He became even more creative after the show, delving into himself, often disappearing from the stage, but then returning with new songs. He remains unmarried, but viewers still consider him one of the most sincere bachelors.
This season received a lot of criticism. It was suspected of being staged. There were also many theories about who could win and where.
Nikita Dobrynin – Season 9 (2019)
Radio and television host, confident, smiling, and open – Nikita became the first bachelor who really built a strong family after the show. In the finale of the ninth season, he chose Darya Kvitkova. Their relationship lasted not only after the project – the couple got married, and in 2021, their son Lev was born. They became an example of a "successful case" of the show.
Where he is now and what he is doing: Nikita and Dasha divorced in 2023, which was a surprise for fans. Despite this, both remain in touch as parents. Nikita hosts podcasts, focuses on self-improvement, maintains a blog, and remains a popular personality. His journey is an example of how reality shows can transform into real-life stories.
Maxim Mykhailyuk – Season 10 (2020)
In the "quarantine" season, the main hero was Maxim – a pilot and model. A man with a stern exterior but a romantic soul. In the finale, he chose Dasha Ulyanova, a champion in artistic gymnastics. It seemed everything would work out, but soon it became known about the breakup. The reasons remained "off-camera," but it was clear the couple couldn't adapt their television romance to real life.
Where he is now and what he is doing: Maxim returned to his profession – flying as a pilot and actively engaging in sports. He rarely publishes personal content on social media, but it is known he was in a relationship with another girl after the show. After 2022, he actively supported Ukraine, especially helping volunteers.
Mykhailo Zalivako – Season 11 (2021)
This season amazed viewers with a combination of charisma, simplicity, and humor. Mykhailo – a businessman from Kharkiv who managed a logistics company. He won the hearts of many girls with his sincerity and love for life. In the finale, he chose Hanna Bohdan – the former wife of the spokesperson for the President of Ukraine, which sparked a wave of discussions.
Where he is now and what he is doing: Mykhailo and Hanna were together for several years, traveling and actively managing a joint blog. In 2023, the couple announced their breakup. After this, Mykhailo focused more on work, moved west of Ukraine, and helped the Ukrainian Armed Forces. He still remains a public figure, although he avoids media hype.
Alex Topolskyi – Season 12 (2022–2023)
Alex – a businessman from the USA with Ukrainian roots. His season was filmed in Poland due to the full-scale war. The public perceived Alex ambiguously – some admired his restraint and sophistication, while others criticized him for emotional detachment. In the finale, he chose Kateryna Lozovytska, but after the show, it became clear that the couple was not together.
Where he is now and what he is doing: Alex returned to the USA, where he is engaged in real estate business. He maintains an Instagram account and sometimes participates in public events. Despite the show not giving him love, he speaks gratefully about his experience in Ukraine and often supports the Ukrainian community in America.
This season faced so much criticism that it was almost canceled. Alex himself turned out not to be very open, and he has been accused of lying for many years.
Oleksandr “Teren” Budko – Season 13 (2024)
Oleksandr Budko, better known as Teren, is a war veteran, a soldier of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and an ambassador of resilience. After a serious injury, he not only returned to a full life but also became a symbol of spirit strength. His participation in the show "Bachelor" was not just a romantic step but a deep gesture of faith in life after trauma. This is the first season where the main hero is a veteran with a prosthetic leg but with incredible energy for life.
Where he is now and what he is doing: Oleksandr continues to work as a public figure, leads a blog, and motivates other Ukrainians, especially veterans. He actively promotes the topic of rehabilitation, mental health, and support for the military. His participation in "Bachelor" in 2024 is an example of how the concept of male strength and beauty is changing in Ukrainian society. Regarding his personal life – so far he keeps the intrigue.
After the end of the last season, Oleksandr and Inna (the winner) stayed together, but not for long. A scandal broke out in the public space. The lovers also publicly resolved their issues. Later they revealed they had divorced.
