Ukrainian drivers will be able to obtain medical certificates electronically
Ukrainian lawmakers propose to abolish the paper certificate of medical examination for drivers and replace it with obtaining data on their fitness to drive from the electronic register. Through a special draft law, the medical conclusion on fitness to operate a vehicle will be generated and stored in the central database of the Electronic Health Care System (EHCS).
This draft law is part of the process of digitizing public services. Laws supporting data exchange between the conscription register and the electronic health care system have already been adopted.
