Steel Front launched the production of protection for Canadian Roshel.

The Ukrainian company Metinvest, in collaboration with the military, has started the production of protective screens for Roshel armored vehicles, which are widely used at the front. These screens are designed to protect against shrapnel and FPV drones that can cause harm to the vehicle. The design of the screens was developed by engineers together with crews who are already operating such vehicles in frontline areas.
Oleksandr Myronenko, the operational director of the Metinvest Group, noted that these screens were created with real threats posed by FPV drones in mind and have become a major danger for armored vehicles.
Ukrainian military have already received 1700 Senator armored vehicles from the Canadian manufacturer Roshel. Thanks to the new screens, these vehicles will be even better protected on the battlefield.
The initiative 'Steel Front by Renat Akhmetov' is not limited to supplying ready-made equipment to the Armed Forces of Ukraine but is also focused on developing its own solutions for the front, including steel shelters, command bunkers, counter-drone solutions, and protective systems for armored vehicles.
Analysis: The production of protective screens for Roshel armored vehicles is an important step in enhancing the safety of Ukrainian troops on the front. These screens will help reduce the risk of damage to equipment and injuries to the crew. The initiative 'Steel Front by Renat Akhmetov' demonstrates not only the supply of ready-made equipment but also the development of new solutions to adapt to the real threats on the front.
