Property of Ukrzaliznytsia was set on fire. The Security Service of Ukraine exposed seven teenage agents of the Russian Federation.

The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) uncovered a scheme for recruiting schoolchildren and students with criminal intent. According to the SBU, Russian special services hired children through Telegram channels, offering them 'easy money'. By instructions from Russia, the teenagers were supposed to prepare to set fire to the relay cabinets of Ukrzaliznytsia. As a result of the investigation, the SBU uncovered six arsonists from one school in Smila and a student from Chernihiv who were involved in this scheme.
Special services checked their agents for readiness for sabotage and provocative graffiti on buildings. After that, the teenagers received tasks to set fire to the relay cabinets and even to make homemade explosive devices. However, thanks to the timely reaction of the SBU, the perpetrators were unable to carry out their criminal plans.
The detained individuals face liability under the Criminal Code of Ukraine, including life imprisonment and confiscation of property. A serious problem is also the recruitment of minors to carry out terrorist acts and sabotage, as 22% of Ukrainians hired by the Russian special services are minors.
