Enerhodar for them is a sanatorium. Former Zaporizhzhia NPP employee revealed how occupiers are abusing Ukrainians.

Former head of the operational unit of the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant Oleg Dudar noted that the occupiers have made the city of Enerhodar and the station itself comfortable zones for their leisure. He emphasized that, in addition to oppressing the local population, the Russian occupiers consider this place safe for themselves.
"Enerhodar and the Zaporizhzhia station for these orcs is like a sanatorium. They come there because they understand that Ukraine will never shoot in that direction," Dudar said.
The occupiers conduct searches and detain people in the city, even those who have Russian passports. They also seize the apartments of residents who leave the city, forcing them to choose only between returning and obtaining Russian citizenship.
Dudar expressed concern about the loss of highly qualified workers at the Zaporizhzhia NPP. He stressed that the leadership of NAEC "Energoatom" has done little to preserve this human potential.
Problems with the restoration of the nuclear power plant
The situation in Enerhodar is serious not only due to violations of the rights of the local population but also due to the difficulties arising in the process of restoring the operation of the Zaporizhzhia NPP. The departure of qualified specialists poses a threat to the safety and stability of the station in the future.
