Strikes on Russian Armed Forces command posts: AFU General Staff reported a successful operation
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on the successful strikes on three command posts of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
According to the AFU General Staff information, command posts of the 35th and 27th separate motorized rifle brigades of the Russian Armed Forces, as well as one of the command posts of the 2nd combined arms army of the Russian Armed Forces, were attacked.
For the strikes, Storm Shadow missiles and GMLRS rockets were used. The operation was carried out by units of the Air Forces and the missile forces and artillery of the AFU in cooperation with other components of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
The General Staff notes that the results of the strikes are currently being clarified. Exact dates of the attacks are not specified, it is only reported that they were carried out "days ago".
Storm Shadow – these are Anglo-French long-range cruise missiles, and GMLRS – are American guided rockets for multiple launch rocket systems. The use of this high-precision weaponry enables the AFU to strike important enemy military targets at a significant distance from the front line.
Earlier, there was also information in the media that Ukraine might secretly allow strikes on Russia with Storm Shadow missiles.
