AFU advanced in Kharkiv region and Donbas: ISW maps.


According to the latest geolocation data, Ukrainian forces continue their counteroffensive in the east of the country, achieving successes both in Kharkiv region and Donbas. However, Russian forces also continue offensive actions and have certain successes in some sections of the front. This is reported by the American Institute for the Study of War.
Kharkiv region
The AFU advanced to Heroes of Chernobyl Street in the center of Vovchansk. Fighting also continues for the Vovchansk Aggregate Plant, control of which has changed hands several times. In addition, Russian forces have minor successes north of Tykhe. The enemy continues ground attacks in the areas of Hlyboke, Vovchansk, and Tykhe.
Luhansk region
Meanwhile, in Luhansk region the enemy is trying to take revenge, advancing in the areas of Makiivka and Nevske. However, the AFU hold their ground, courageously repelling attacks and inflicting significant losses on the Russians. Our fighters particularly distinguished themselves near Kovalivka, where they crushed a Russian mechanized attack.
Donetsk region
In Donetsk region the situation is even more tense. There is a real grueling battle for every meter of land here. The AFU have successes near Verkhnokamianske and Sakko and Vantsetti, but the Russians respond with counterattacks and continue to pressure many sections of the front. It is especially hot in the areas of Chasiv Yar, Ivanivske, Kurdiumivka, Toretsk, and Vuhledar.
Southern axis
The situation is a bit calmer, but there are still clashes here as well. Russian forces continue limited ground attacks, trying to probe the AFU's defenses.
