The death toll from the Russian strike on Sumy has increased.


The number of people who died as a result of the Russian missile attack on Sumy on April 13 has risen to 35. This was reported by the Sumy regional prosecutor's office.
The dead include an 11-year-old boy and a 17-year-old young man. 117 people were injured, of which 15 are children.
Previously, there were reports of casualties from the missile attack by the Russian Federation on Sumy.
On April 13, the Russian army attacked the center of Sumy on Palm Sunday. Two powerful explosions occurred in the city, after which a pillar of smoke rose into the sky. Public transport was also damaged.
The president reacted to the attack.
Rescuers clearing the rubble after the missile attack showed a photo of a blue-yellow flag that remained unharmed in one of the destroyed buildings.
A children's event was supposed to take place in the Congress Center of Sumy State University, but it was canceled due to the destruction.
U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio expressed condolences to the victims and those affected by the Russian missile strike on Sumy. He noted that such attacks are the reason for Trump's and his administration's efforts to achieve peace.
Trump's special representative in Ukraine, Keith Kellogg, believes that the attack by the Russians on Sumy goes beyond all limits. He emphasized that such targeted aggression is unacceptable.
