Zelensky revealed details of operation 'Spider Web' and the role of truck drivers with drones

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky spoke about the involvement of Russian drivers in the special operation 'Spider Web'. According to Zelensky, the drivers were not aware of the true purpose of the operation, during which Ukrainian drones attacked airfields on Russian territory.

'They knew nothing. They were simply doing their job,' emphasized the leader of Ukraine.

Zelensky explained that the drones were hidden in special containers with retractable lids and launched towards the targets after the lids were opened remotely.

Drones inflicted losses on Russia in military equipment

According to the Security Service of Ukraine, during the 'Spider Web' operation, 41 Russian aircraft were destroyed or damaged at four airfields, inflicting significant losses on Russia in military equipment. Zelensky also emphasized that only Ukrainian developments were used in the operation.

'I really wanted us to use only what we produce ourselves. And to have a clear distinction: this is our weapon, not an ally's,' the president stressed.

Media reports indicate that Ukraine developed the 'Spider Web' operation without the involvement of US intelligence. Ukrainian drones attacked various targets in Russia, including the 'Engels-2' airfield and a fuel base in the Saratov region.

Information about the involvement of Russian drivers in the 'Spider Web' special operation, developed by Ukraine without US participation, raises many questions and thoughts. The drivers, who were not informed about the true purpose of the operation, became part of the execution of an attack on airfields in Russia. Such events underline the seriousness of the conflict between the countries and the importance of deploying a defense strategy to ensure national security.
