President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky spoke about his busy working day, which was dedicated to military and diplomatic issues on the 1184th day of the full-scale war. The head of state held meetings with military and diplomatic service employees to discuss the situation at the front and preparations for future negotiations.
Prisoner exchange and important military meeting
On the lists for the exchange of prisoners, which were provided by the Russian side, the president was informed by the intelligence and the Security Service of Ukraine. According to Zelensky, clarifications regarding specific details are currently being made, and additional meetings on this issue are planned.
Particular attention was paid at the meeting to the situation at the front and preparations for upcoming diplomatic meetings. Present were the commander-in-chief, the head of the General Staff, intelligence services, and the Ministry of Defense.
'We are working to ensure that the meeting takes place as soon as possible. Our Ukrainian interest is not to prolong the war, but to be prepared for any possible developments in the situation,' the president said.
The president emphasized that Russia has not yet shown readiness for a ceasefire and thanked the Ukrainian military for their resilience, achieved results, and dedication.
Jobs, technological development, and social opportunities
Economic issues were discussed at the meeting with the Prime Minister, vice premiers, and the Office of the President's team. The three main priorities defined by the head of state are the creation of new jobs, technological development, and ensuring guaranteed social opportunities for citizens.
Diplomatic efforts and invitation to the summit
The president's diplomatic activity included talks with European partners regarding support for the peace process and a ceasefire. Zelensky invited several countries to participate in the upcoming 'Ukraine - Southeast Europe' summit. The president thanked all partners who are preparing new aid packages for Ukraine and announced the continuation of consultations with allies.
