Zelensky announced important negotiations on EU membership and preparations for 'Ramstein'.


The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, held meetings on defense issues and Eurointegration, and he reported this in his address on January 7.
'Today there were many meetings. We considered all packages available in the Ministry of Defense and the General Staff, taking into account our needs. We are also preparing for 'Ramstein.' - said the president.
According to Zelensky, there was a report from the Foreign Intelligence Service about the prospects of Ukraine. In addition, he held a meeting on Eurointegration, which included the Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada, government officials, and the President's Office team.
'Our main task this year is to agree on Ukraine's membership in the EU. This is important for Ukraine and the security of all of Europe.' - emphasized Zelensky.
The president also noted that Poland will lead the European Union in the first half of this year, while Denmark will preside in the second half. 'These are our very responsible partners, and we will do everything necessary to make the right decisions.' - he added.
In addition, Zelensky had a conversation with the President of Switzerland regarding the organization of an upcoming summit on peace and humanitarian aid for Syria. He suggested the Swiss side join in supplying Ukrainian food to Syria.
