The U.S. Ban on Transferring Intelligence Data Resulted in Significant Losses for the Armed Forces of Ukraine - Time.

The U.S. Stopped Transferring Military Intelligence Information to Ukraine
The U.S. decision to stop transferring military intelligence information to Ukraine this week contributed to Russia's movements along a critical part of the front, resulting in the deaths of many Ukrainian soldiers in recent days. This was reported by the Ukrainian publication 'Glavkom' citing Time.
«Due to this pause, there are hundreds of Ukrainian casualties», – stated one of the officers in an interview with Time on Friday in Kyiv.
«The biggest problem is the morale», – he added. «It really gives the enemy an advantage on the front line».
Ukrainians in the Kursk region suffered the most from the halt in intelligence data, as the Armed Forces try to hold onto the territory they captured last August. President Zelensky views this region as a crucial driver in peace negotiations with Russia and intends to exchange it for Ukrainian lands occupied by Russia, Time notes.
Despite the halt in intelligence data, the Ukrainian military can use the Himars system to strike at the invaders' positions. However, previously they had more accurate target coordinates. This was reported by the publication 'Glavkom' referencing military expert Sergey Beskrestnov, who specializes in electronic warfare and communication systems.
The CIA temporarily ceased providing Ukraine with weapons and intelligence data. CIA Director John Ratcliffe stated that he expects the pause to be lifted and work with Ukraine to resume following a letter from U.S. President Donald Trump. According to a source from Sky News, the exchange of intelligence data between the U.S. and Ukraine has not completely stopped but has become selective.
The technology company Maxar also stopped Ukraine's access to its satellite intelligence images. The company made this decision in accordance with the White House's directive, which halted the exchange of intelligence data with Kyiv, the agency reports.
