The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has once again updated the losses of Russian occupiers as of the morning of Monday, August 5, 2024.
Russia's losses in the war as of August 5, 2024
As of August 5, Russia has lost in the war with Ukraine:
- personnel - about 584090 (+1180) individuals,
- tanks - 8417 (+6) units,
- armored fighting vehicles - 16286 (+31) units,
- artillery systems - 16345 (+69) units,
- MLRS - 1138 (+0) units,
- air defense systems - 910 (+0) units,
- aircraft - 365 (+0) units,
- helicopters - 326 (+0) units,
- operational-tactical UAVs - 13122 (+24),
- cruise missiles - 2414 (+0),
- ships/boats - 28 (+0) units,
- submarines - 1 (+0) unit,
- motor vehicles and fuel tankers - 22094 (+68) units,
- special equipment - 2737 (+3).
Occupying fleet activity as of August 5:
- In the Black Sea, one enemy ship carrying "Kalibr" cruise missiles with a total salvo of up to four missiles;
- In the Sea of Azov, no enemy ships;
- In the Mediterranean Sea, two enemy ships, one of which carries "Kalibr" cruise missiles with a total salvo of up to 16 missiles.
Over the past day, in the interests of the Russian Federation, the Kerch Strait passage was made by:
- to the Black Sea - nine ships, six of which continued moving towards the Bosporus Strait;
- to the Sea of Azov - six ships, two of which were moving from the Bosporus Strait.
Today marks the 894th day of the full-scale war in Ukraine.
