On the night of June 20, Russia attacked Odesa again, resulting in damage to a multi-story building, including the apartment that belonged to the girl Eli and was the last connection to her grandmother and grandfather. This story was shared by Eli's former neighbor Anastasia on the social network Threads. "Tonight, Odesa experienced terrible pain. But this girl felt an even deeper pain. She is my former neighbor. Like me, she was raised by her grandmother and grandfather. When they were gone, the only thing left was this apartment. And today, nothing remains of it," shared Anastasia. According to the former neighbor, the only thing that Eli managed to save was a framed photo of her grandmother and grandfather. "Not a phone. Not a passport. Not any important documents. She took the most valuable thing she had – the photo of her grandmother and grandfather," added Anastasia. On the night of June 20, the Russian occupying army struck Odesa with strike drones. The city's mayor, Hennadiy Trukhanov, stated that as a result of the attack, buildings, cars, educational institutions, and recreational facilities were damaged. But the most affected was Eli's apartment, which was all that remained of her grandmother and grandfather. The girl managed to save only the photo of her grandmother and grandfather, which was the most valuable thing in the world for her.
