Russian terrorists shelled Sumy region

On the night of June 24, Russian terrorists shelled Sumy region with strike drones. According to preliminary data, three people died as a result of the attack, including an eight-year-old boy. This was reported by the head of the Sumy Regional State Administration, Oleg Hryhorov, according to Glavcom.

The body was retrieved from the rubble of a destroyed house. A man and a woman also died.

According to him, around midnight, the Russians massively attacked a village in the Verkhniosyrovatka community with strike UAVs. There is currently information on three deaths. Among the victims of the Russian attack is an eight-year-old boy.

The strike claimed the lives of people from different families who lived on the same street. They went to sleep in their homes, but Russian drones interrupted their sleep - forever. Hryhorov expressed his sincere condolences to their relatives.

Situation after the shelling

Shortly after, three people were pulled from the rubble. One person is in serious condition and has been hospitalized. After the hits, a fire broke out, which rescue workers, medics, and other services are currently trying to extinguish, providing necessary assistance.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine have launched a counteroffensive in Sumy region, liberating the village of Andriivka. The 225th Separate Assault Regiment managed to take control of this village, driving out enemy forces and stopping their advance to other settlements.
