Volunteer, widow of a defender, mother of two children. Let's remember Anastasia Yefimova.

Every day at 9 a.m., Ukrainians pay tribute to all whose lives were taken by the Russian-Ukrainian war. Today we remember Anastasia Yefimova.
An activist, volunteer, and military member Anastasia Yefimova (Gromova) died in the war against the occupiers. Two children are left orphaned. This was reported by the ambassador of the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation and friend of Anastasia, Liliia Shevchenko, informs 'Hlavcom'. The photographer and volunteer Oleksandra Sidletska also wrote about Yefimova's death.
With incredible pain, I inform: our friend, our sister, the daughter of our Marina Gromova and mother of two children - Anastasia Yefimova (Gromova) has died in the war. She gave her life for Ukraine. For each of us. For our dawns, our freedom, our future. She was and remains bright, strong, free, devoted, true. Among those who do not retreat. Among those who do not remain silent. Among those who go to the end - for the sake of the lives of others,' Liliia Shevchenko wrote, adding that the defender's heart stopped in battle.
Anastasia was a volunteer, organized humanitarian initiatives, and after her husband's death in the war, she single-handedly raised two children. Later, she joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Previously, she taught at the driving school 'AutoLady', worked in the Association of People's Volunteers of Ukraine, participated in the activities of the Municipal Guard of Kyiv, headed the department of organizing mass events in the All-Ukrainian NGO 'Territory of Women', and founded the Ukrainian Technosport Federation.
'You were not only a sister – you were, are, and will always be my true sister. You will forever remain in my memory, in my heart, and in my soul. I believe that the Merciful Lord has received your soul into His Kingdom, where all the righteous rest. Rest with God, my dear. Heroes do not die. There are no words, only terrible pain,' Malvina Grytsenyuk wrote about Yefimova.
'Hlavcom' joins in a minute of silence. We honor the memory of all Ukrainians who died in the fight for their homeland. We remember those killed by the Russian invaders, light candles of memory, and bow our heads in grief during the nationwide minute of silence, honoring the bright memory of Ukrainian citizens who gave their lives for the freedom and independence of the state: all military personnel, civilians, and children, all who died in the struggle against Russian occupiers and as a result of the attack by enemy troops on Ukrainian cities and villages.
