In Ukraine, payments for the care of pensioner relatives have been introduced.

The government has decided to assist citizens who will take care of their sick relatives by establishing a new system of monthly payments. A person will be able to receive compensation if they can prove that they are providing constant care for a family member with whom they live. The amount of assistance will be calculated individually for each family, taking into account their income.
The amount of payment will depend on the difference between the subsistence minimum and the average income per family member.
To receive this assistance, one must apply to the Pension Fund office with the necessary documents.
Other types of social support for elderly Ukrainians
Elderly people over the age of 80 with low pensions receive additional assistance. Furthermore, single individuals needing external care may receive an allowance to the subsistence minimum.
The new social support system for citizens caring for elderly relatives aims to alleviate their financial burden and improve their quality of life. This will allow more effective care for the most vulnerable segment of Ukraine's population.
