Usyk made it to the list of the richest boxers in history.

The sports resource GiveMeSport has published a list of the richest boxers in history, which includes Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk, the world heavyweight champion according to the WBC, WBA, WBO, and IBO versions. This was reported by the website 'Glavkom'. The first place in the ranking went to former world boxing champion Floyd Mayweather, while Oleksandr Usyk (23-0, 14 KO) took the sixth position.

It is noteworthy that Oleksandr Usyk has declined the idea of becoming a politician:

However, the boxer stated that he is ready to become the Minister of Sports of Ukraine:

“Minister of Sports? It doesn't seem like a political position to me. Well, it's politics, but a different kind. If I were offered to become Minister of Sports tomorrow? I would refuse. If I never become it, I won't be upset.”

Earlier, Sportico published a ranking of the highest-paid athletes of 2024, in which Oleksandr Usyk took the seventh position. According to experts, he earned $122 million last year.
