As a result of the Russian strike on Sumy, Colonel Yuriy Yula, the commander of the 27th Rocket Artillery Brigade named after Petro Kalnyshensky, was killed.
Yuriy Yula was born on August 18, 1982, in the village of Volevachi in the Chernihiv region. He served in the military and held leadership positions in artillery brigades. For his service, he received state awards and orders. Since 2023, Yuriy Yula had been the commander of the 27th Rocket Artillery Brigade.
Yesterday, April 13, the Russian army attacked Sumy. As a result of the explosions, people were killed and public transport was damaged.
The President of Ukraine and the U.S. Secretary of State expressed their condolences and condemned this attack. Thus, Russian strikes continue to bring casualties and destruction to Ukraine.
