Ukrenergo announced the power outage schedule for November 23
On Friday, a series of outages will be implemented from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
According to the company, the restrictions are related to the damage of energy facilities due to a missile-drone attack on November 17. Emergency recovery works are underway.
325 settlements remain without electricity due to severe weather conditions
As of the morning of November 22, due to rain, wet snow, ice, and strong gusts of wind - 325 settlements in 9 regions of Ukraine were left without electricity: Dnipropetrovsk, Kirovograd, Kharkiv, Sumy, Poltava, Chernihiv, Donetsk, Cherkasy, and Kherson.
Electricity consumption decreased by 4.5%
On November 21, maximum electricity consumption was 4.5% lower than the previous day due to increased restrictions.
Ukrenergo reports that the Ukrainian energy system is recovering after mass attacks. Hourly blackout schedules operate in all regions from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM to balance the system.
Electricity import from neighboring countries planned
An import of electricity from Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Hungary, and Moldova totaling 7,408 MWh is also planned, with a maximum capacity of up to 817 MW in certain hours.
