Ukrainians More Frequently Register Inheritance and Leave Wills: Statistics.


Throughout this year, Ukrainians have started to more frequently register inheritance rights and wills. In the first 6 months of 2024, over 521 thousand inheritance certificates were issued, which is 15% more than last year. The number of registered wills also increased by 16.2%.
In the first half of 2024, 521,356 forms for inheritance certificates were issued, which is 15% more than last year. This is also 9.7% more than before the full-scale invasion began.
This year also saw an increase in the number of registered wills. In the first 6 months of 2024, 68,497 will forms were issued, which is 16.2% more than in the corresponding period last year. However, compared to the period before the full-scale war, the number of wills did not increase.
It is worth noting that not always is only one notarial form used for one notarial act, so the number of acts is approximate and compared to previous years.
