Ukraine returned the bodies of over 750 fallen defenders.


Many defenders have returned to Ukraine
The Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War reported that 757 fallen defenders have been returned to Ukraine.
Among them are many soldiers from various directions, including Kurakhove, Pokrovsk, Bakhmut, Vuhledar, Luhansk, and Zaporizhzhia regions, as well as from morgues on the territory of the Russian Federation.
The International Committee of the Red Cross facilitated the return of the fallen defenders. Various structures participated in the process, including the Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Security Service of Ukraine, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, the office of the Human Rights Commissioner of the Verkhovna Rada, the State Emergency Service, and others.
Law enforcement agencies together with experts from the Ministry of Internal Affairs will quickly establish the identities of the deceased.
It is worth noting that in January of this year, the bodies of 757 fallen defenders were also returned. Among them were many soldiers from various directions, including Donetsk, Bakhmut, Vuhledar, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia regions, as well as from morgues on the territory of the Russian Federation.
