The CPD assessed whether the Russian Federation will end the war in 50 days at Trump's request.

CPD Head on Ending the War Within 50 Days
Recently, U.S. President Donald Trump announced that if Russia does not agree to a ceasefire within 50 days, America will impose 'very severe tariffs' against Moscow and its trading partners. The head of the Center for Countering Disinformation, Andriy Kovalenko, responded to whether Putin would agree to end the war within 50 days.
Kovalenko noted that Russian propagandists are currently operating in a way that suggests Russia does not plan to end the full-scale war within the 50-day timeframe mentioned by Donald Trump.
According to the CPD head, Putin is effectively drifting toward becoming a raw materials appendage to China. He stated that Russia cannot continue to fight independently without technological support. Moreover, it is also dependent on ammunition from North Korea.
Kovalenko explained that this puts Russia in a state of dependency.
'To tell such a scenario to Khrushchev, Brezhnev, or even Andropov — they wouldn't believe it and would be frightened, as no one could imagine that Russia would become not a player, but a pawn,' — noted the representative of the Center for Countering Disinformation.
Furthermore, he added that the loss of influence in Central Asia, the post-Soviet space, the Middle East, and the gradual loss in Africa, which is only 'devouring' Russian resources — all of this is about Putin.
'Russia is losing the war against Ukraine and is becoming merely an instrument for other geopolitical players to maintain their interests. Maximum shame,' — summed up Kovalenko.
Recall that recently Donald Trump sharply criticized Russia's economic policy and threatened new customs measures.
Earlier, the head of the White House reacted harshly to a journalist's question about new Russian strikes on Ukrainian territory.
During the discussion about the possible end of the war within 50 days, U.S. President Donald Trump expressed the threat of imposing additional tariffs if Russia refused to cease hostilities. The head of the Center for Countering Disinformation expressed the opinion that such a situation would put Russia in an uncomfortable position and lead to a loss of influence in the region.Read also
