Today, May 10, at 10:10 Kyiv Time (09:10 Moscow time), 'Kadala' airport in Chita ceased the acceptance and dispatch of aircraft. As reported by Rosaviatsia representative Artem Korenyako, the fire had come close to the airfield, reports 'Glavkom'.

According to the latest report from Artem Korenyako, as of 12:10 Kyiv time (11:10 Moscow time), 'Kadala' airport in Chita has resumed operations.
It should be noted that Russia announced the closure of airspace over the 'Kapustin Yar' military training ground, from which it previously launched medium-range ballistic missiles 'Oreshnik' at Ukraine.
It is noted that the restricted area covers approximately 110 by 70 km. This includes the 'Kapustin Yar' testing ground in the Volgograd region, as well as part of the neighboring Saratov region.
The closure will be in effect for one day - from 06:00 on May 12 to 06:00 on May 13.
The fire situation at 'Kadala' airport in Chita was serious, but fortunately, there was no threat to flight safety. Russia has also taken measures to close airspace over the military training ground.
