Terrorist attack in Tel Aviv: seven dead and 16 injured, among them – a citizen of Ukraine
The attack that took place on October 1 in Tel Aviv, resulting in the death of seven people and the injury of 16 others, has serious consequences. Among the injured is a citizen of Ukraine. This was stated by the Ambassador of Ukraine to Israel Yevgen Korniichuk during a telethon.
According to him, among the wounded is a woman with dual citizenship, one of which is Ukrainian. Fortunately, her life is not in danger.
The diplomat reported that the consul will visit the injured Ukrainian woman today or tomorrow. Currently, there are about 15 thousand Ukrainians in Israel who are registered with the consulate, but the total number of Ukrainian citizens in Israel is much higher.
Another evacuation of citizens from Lebanon
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, together with the Main Intelligence Directorate, carried out another evacuation of citizens who were in Lebanon. In total, 179 people were evacuated, 134 of whom were citizens of Ukraine. This operation was the third wave of evacuation from Lebanon due to the worsening security and economic situation in the region. In total, 234 people were evacuated in three missions, 189 of whom were Ukrainians.
Call to Ukraine and Lebanon
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine called on Israel and Lebanon to refrain from large-scale war. All efforts must be directed at achieving a peaceful resolution of the conflict and preventing any other acts of violence.
