Ukrainian tennis player Elina Svitolina achieved her 18th victory and climbed to 17th place in the WTA ranking. Her compatriots Marta Kostyuk and Dayana Yastremska also experienced changes in their positions.
The strongest tennis player remains Aryna Sabalenka, who leads the ranking with 10758 points. Following her are Iga Swiatek (Poland), Jessica Pegula (USA), and Coco Gauff (USA).
In the final of the WTA 250 tournament in Rouen, Svitolina faced Serbian tennis player Olga Danilovich. The match was tense, but Elina managed to win by a score of 6:4, 7:6(8) and claim her 18th title.
This was her 22nd WTA final, but the first one after a long break. Svitolina last played in a final in January of last year, and her last victory was in May 2023.
For Svitolina, the next challenge will be a match against Serbian tennis player Olga Danilovich. The last Time they met on the court.
