The Cause of Death of Captive 'Azov' Soldier Ishchenko in Russian Detention Center Revealed.


Ukrainian Warrior Oleksandr Ishchenko Died in Captivity Due to Chest Trauma
A forensic medical expert confirmed that Oleksandr Ishchenko, a Ukrainian defender and driver in the 'Azov' regiment, who was captured during the defense of Mariupol, died in the detention center in Rostov-on-Don due to blunt chest trauma. This was stated by the deputy commander of the 'Azov' brigade, Sviatoslav Palamar.
"The fact of another brutal murder of a Ukrainian prisoner of war has been confirmed. The document is attached with the consent of Ms. Olena, the wife of the tortured Oleksandr Oleksandrovych Ishchenko, who was mobilized into 'Azov' on February 27, 2022," Palamar wrote on Facebook.
The deputy commander of the 'Azov' brigade emphasized that this is not only a violation by the Russians of the Geneva Convention on the treatment of prisoners of war.
"This is a blow to human honor and dignity, to international law, to the principles and values we uphold on the front," Palamar stressed.
According to the results of the forensic medical examination, Ishchenko's death was caused by rib fractures, shock, and closed chest trauma due to contact with a blunt object of indeterminate intent.
The press service of 'Azov' also confirmed the death of warrior Oleksandr Ishchenko in Russian captivity.
Earlier, it was reported about the death of Mariupol defender, a fighter of the 12th special purpose brigade 'Azov' of the National Guard of Ukraine, Oleksandr Ishchenko.
