US successfully strikes weapon caches of Houthis - Pentagon.


The US Department of Defense announced that it has successfully carried out airstrikes on military targets of the Houthis in Yemen. These targets were used for attacks on civilian ships in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden.
A spokesperson for the Pentagon, General Patrick Ryder, stated: 'Central Command forces conducted a series of precise airstrikes on numerous weapon caches of the Houthis located in facilities they control in Yemen'.

Ryder explained that these facilities contained modern weaponry, which was being used by Iran's proxy forces to attack civilian and military ships in international waters.
The operation involved US air and naval forces, including F35 aircraft. Ryder specified that the airstrikes were carried out on November 9 and 10, and the success of the operation has been confirmed.
