The meeting in the 'Ramstein' format has begun — the goal of the gathering.


On Monday, July 21, the meeting in the 'Ramstein' format began with the participation of defense ministers from various countries. It is planned to allocate 40 billion euros in military aid to Ukraine.

According to Telegraf correspondent Olga Kyryliova, this is the 29th meeting of the 'Ramstein', taking place online this Time.
The main goal of the meeting is to gather the promised 40 billion euros in military aid to Ukraine within the framework of NATO. Representatives from 52 countries are participating in the event, including U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth.
The conference also features the new Minister of Defense of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal, the new Secretary of the NSDC Rustem Umerov, and the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi.
It is worth noting that Czech activists have raised 60 million crowns to purchase howitzers for Ukraine.
Additionally, Denys Shmyhal announced that the Abrams tanks provided by Australia as part of the aid to Ukraine are now in service.
Ukraine is receiving support from partner countries on the international stage, notably during the meeting in the 'Ramstein' format where participants discuss the allocation of a large sum of military assistance. This is an important step towards strengthening the country's defense capabilities and ensuring security in the region.
