Ukrainian athletes at the Paris Paralympics were provoked by Russians. This was reported by the head of the National Paralympic Committee of Ukraine, Valeriy Sushkevych.
The first option is rude provocations. This includes talks about "khokhols" next to our athletes. I told the head of the International Paralympic Committee that the Russians will be punished for these provocations
Sushkevych also noted that another form of provocation is when Russians address Ukrainian athletes with the word "hello".
These two options are vile and elicit an unequivocal reaction from our athletes. The main thing is not to respond to provocations, as this could lead to the disqualification of a Ukrainian athlete
Earlier it was reported that Ukrainian athletes were prohibited from talking about the war at the Paralympics according to the regulations of the International Paralympic Committee.
Also, Russian swimmer Andrey Kalina, who won gold at the Paralympics, expressed support for Putin on his Instagram.
On the third day of the Paris Paralympics, Ukrainian athletes won 11 medals, bringing Ukraine's total to 19 awards.
