Employment of Ukrainian refugees in Germany: Welt named a new trend.

The integration of Ukrainian refugees into the German labor market is growing rapidly, reports Welt, citing a statement from Labor Minister Hubertus Heil.
In September, more than 8,500 Ukrainian citizens found jobs in the primary labor market, in education or self-employment. This is almost twice as much as in September 2023.
By the end of July 2024, out of 700,000 working-age Ukrainians who arrived in Germany, about 266,000 were employed. Of them, 213,000 were subject to social contributions, and 53,000 had part-Time employment.
Andrea Nahles, head of the Federal Employment Agency, explained that the labor market is currently not very welcoming to Ukrainians, but the situation is gradually changing. Only the confusion in the procedures for approving professional qualifications remains an obstacle.
In total, there are almost 3.5 million forced migrants in Germany, among whom over a million are Ukrainians.
German Interior Minister Nancy Faeser stated that the country's resources for receiving migrants are currently at their limit. She addressed the European Commission with a statement expressing concern about the situation with migrants in Germany. According to Faeser, the resources of the federal center and the states are "practically exhausted" and migration authorities are increasingly reaching the limit of their capacity to receive refugees.
It is also known that the consideration of asylum cases in Germany's administrative courts is taking more and more time - almost 19 months. This process, despite the ruling coalition's promises to speed things up, is becoming progressively longer.
