Ukrainians abroad can remotely arrange or renew pension payments
The Ministry of Reintegration reports that Ukrainians who went abroad and received temporary protection can remotely receive a pension. This also applies to those whose pension payments were suspended during martial law. Moreover, citizens who have reached retirement age can apply for a pension for the first Time.
To arrange or renew a pension remotely through the Pension Fund of Ukraine portal, you need to:
- Obtain an electronic signature (EDS).
- Log in to the personal account on the PFU portal using the EDS.
- Select "Pension application" and the appropriate type of pension in the "About pension provision" section.
Mailing documents to the PFU
- Obtain documents confirming temporary protection and registration abroad.
- Translate and legalize copies of documents through the nearest Consulate of Ukraine.
- Write an application for obtaining or renewing a pension, adding translated and legalized documents.
- Send the application with documents by mail to the Pension Fund of Ukraine.
