Germany considers the possibility of deporting Islamists to Syria.

Germany prepares for the deportation of criminals and Islamists from Syria
The German Interior Minister Nancy Faeser announced that the German government is preparing to deport Syrian citizens who have committed crimes in Germany or are recognized as Islamists back to their homeland. She also stated that the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF) will review asylum decisions after assessing the situation in Syria.
Faeser emphasized that those who have learned the German language and found work or education in Germany will not be deported. She indicated that the program for supporting the voluntary repatriation of Syrians will be expanded. However, criminals and Islamists will be deported as quickly as possible, provided that the situation in Syria stabilizes.
The minister hopes for peace in Syria and the return of refugees to their homes. According to the Ministry of the Interior, more than 900,000 Syrian citizens live in Germany, most of whom arrived after 2015.
