Not doomed: NATO General assesses the situation on the front in Ukraine.

The Supreme Commander of NATO's Allied Forces in Europe, General Christopher Cavoli, speaking at a Senate hearing in the USA, dismissed the notion of the necessity of Ukraine's defeat in the war with Russia. He emphasized that nothing is inevitable regarding the war, and Ukrainians have strong defensive positions and are gradually strengthening their ability to generate force.
'In war, there is nothing inevitable, and Ukrainians are currently in very strong defensive positions and are slowly improving their ability to generate force and strengthen those positions,' Cavoli stressed.
The General noted that it is difficult to imagine a large-scale Ukrainian offensive to liberate all occupied territory; however, he does not consider it entirely impossible. He emphasized that he does not believe in Ukraine's defeat.
Cavoli also noted the significant progress of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which are now a serious modern military force. He believes that Ukrainians have evolved from ordinary soldiers into a strong army.
It has also become known that the next 'Ramstein' meeting in April will be chaired by another person.
