The government allocated funds for vehicles for doctors and food blocks for schools

The government approved the allocation of over 26 million hryvnias for the purchase of new medical vehicles. According to Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, updating the medical fleet will allow for quick responses in critical situations where every second can save a life. The government also plans further improvement of the medical infrastructure to enhance healthcare services for the population.

'Updating the medical fleet means prompt response, which often becomes decisive for saving a person's life. Therefore, we will continue to emphasize this issue,' emphasized Denys Shmyhal.

In addition, the government also allocated 4.9 million hryvnias for the modernization of school food blocks in public institutions in Dnipropetrovsk region. This funding was received as part of cooperation with the United Nations World Food Programme. The Prime Minister noted that currently, 1.6 million primary school students benefit from free meals, and starting in September, this practice will be expanded to all students in conflict zones in the east of the country.

'The government will gradually expand the initiative to provide free meals for children to help families and create suitable conditions for the education of every child,' emphasized Denys Shmyhal.

This important government decision is aimed at improving the medical and educational sectors in the country, which is a step towards enhancing the quality of life for citizens.
