Ukrainian gymnasts included in the national team of Ukraine for 2025
Two Ukrainian gymnasts, Ilya Kovtun and Radomir Stelmach, became members of the national team of Ukraine in artistic gymnastics for 2025. The Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine announced an order approving the composition of the national teams of Ukraine in summer Olympic sports for the coming year, where Kovtun and Stelmach were included in the main roster of the team. Previously, they were not in the draft order. In addition, Kovtun is considering the possibility of competing for the national team of Croatia, but a final decision will be made later. The gymnast won silver at the Paris Olympics and has two fourth-place finishes. In total, Kovtun has already won bronze and silver medals at world championships and represented Ukraine at the Tokyo Olympics.
