Canada and the USA agreed to postpone tariffs for 30 days.

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and US President Donald Trump agreed to postpone the introduction of 25 percent tariffs for 30 days. Trudeau announced this after their conversation.
In addition, Canada and the USA have reached an agreement to jointly combat organized crime, fentanyl, and money laundering. To this end, 200 million dollars have been allocated to fight crime and fentanyl.
The agreement was reached just a few hours after Mexico also received a tariff delay. Mexican Ambassador Claudia Sheinbaum agreed to deploy military personnel at the border with the USA to combat crime and illegal immigration.
President Trump called his conversation with Trudeau 'very good'. He announced the tariff delay for Canada on social media.
The next day, tariffs on goods from China are expected to be introduced at 10%. President Trump called these tariffs 'a shot across the bow' and intends to discuss this issue with Chinese President Xi Jinping.
