German Foreign Minister Advocates for Ukraine's Use of Long-Range Weapons.

German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock stated that Ukraine should have the right to use long-range weapons to defend itself.
"I have always said that it plays an important role, especially in overcoming the mine belt in eastern Ukraine," said the Green Party politician on ARD television.
On the question of Germany supplying other types of weapons, Baerbock noted that she had expressed her opinion on this issue, but Chancellor Olaf Scholz has a different view and believes that the coalition cannot agree on this matter.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky demands permission to use Western weapons hundreds of kilometers from the border with Russia. Specifically, for this purpose, the U.S. would have to allow the use of ATACMS missiles, and the UK - Storm Shadow cruise missiles. German Taurus cruise missiles, which theoretically could reach Moscow, will not be supplied to Kyiv by Scholz's decision.
