The second semifinal of the 69th Eurovision Song Contest started on May 15 in the Swiss city of Basel. During the broadcast, ten participants who made it to the final were determined. This was reported with reference to the live broadcast of the contest.

The following countries qualified for the final:

  • Lithuania
  • Israel
  • Armenia
  • Denmark
  • Austria
  • Luxembourg
  • Finland
  • Latvia
  • Malta
  • Greece

The competition will conclude on May 17, and interestingly, the band Ziferblat will perform the song 'Bird of Pray' on the world stage again.

In the first semifinal, Ukraine also qualified for the final, although it was recognized as the last among the ten finalists. The excitement of our team was so great that

the band Ziferblat did not hide their emotions.

On the night of May 14, the first semifinal took place, in which 18 countries participated. It is noteworthy that Ukraine was already included in the list of finalists then. Bookmakers correctly predicted 8 out of 10 participants of the first semifinal. Besides Ukraine, the other countries that qualified for the final were: Norway, Albania, Sweden, Iceland, the Netherlands, Poland, San Marino, Estonia, Portugal.

It has also become known that Ukraine will perform in the first half of the finals, together with Ziferblat, Iceland, and Spain.

Ziferblat was one of the participants in the opening of the 'Eurovision 2025' contest in Basel. This band represented Ukraine at this event.
